As our environment faces challenges such as global warming which in the long run also affects our loved ones, Acorns International School took an initiative with the help of some of the parents to learn how to take care of our environment. Parents came in to speak to the children about the environment as well as good behaviour.
While loving and caring for our families, it is also important that we care about the nature. Our children carried out activities such as; planting trees, cleaning the environment, watering plants etc. They also learnt the Reduce, Reuse and Recycle (3Rs) method as well as the effects of cutting down trees along with the importance of wetlands, swamps, forestation, saving water and ozone layer.
