Accredited as a Cambridge International Exam Center for Checkpoint exams, which are recognized by universities and colleges throughout the world, as well as Uganda.
At Acorns International School | Bunga we strive to create an environment that embraces the idea that all students can learn. We work to build safe learning spaces for students. Our students are supervised and monitored in all areas (like playing ground, swimming pool and in the classrooms).
Our teachers are knowledgeable, they care about student learning and adapt their instructions to meet the needs of their learners. Our teaching methods are nimble and regularly adjusted as the needs of students shift.
We appreciate the fact that our students are from diverse backgrounds with different abilities. We strive to make the curriculum relevant to their lives and to adopt the strategies which can clear their concepts. We have put in place authentic measures for assessing student learning to monitor their progress.
We recognizes that student success is a complex idea and measuring it must be accomplished with many tools. We also try to discover and nurture the different talents embedded amongst our children. Its time of globalization so we prepare our students for the bigger world through teaching additional languages like French, Kiswahili along with English.
